I'm finally back...

Hi everyone,

I apologize for my absence, but I have a very good excuse… Six months ago, we welcomed a new addition to our family. She is so precious and I feel so blessed to get to experience motherhood for a second time.

Miss V is completely different from her older sister. There have been some bumps in the road of course, between getting adjusted to sleepless nights and trying to reassure our oldest that love is never divided, but multiplied.

Anyway, I’m back! I have actually finished uploading some pictures of the two last newborn sessions - a baby boy and a baby girl - I took. I also squeezed in a family shoot and some Christmas pictures.

It feels good to be behind the camera again!

Congratulations Arianna!

What can I say about this girl? As I wrote on my FB page she is a beautiful soul. Her eyes speak! I was looking for some high school grads and when I found her I was over the moon!

We went to Alexandria Old Town for her session, which was a perfect location for what I had in mind. We spent a couple of hours shooting in different locations. I think Old Town has became one of my favorite photography spots, particularly for grads sessions.

Grab it before it's too late!!!

Welcome Baby H

A little before Christmas one of my favorite couples welcomed their precious baby girl. It's always a blessing and an honor to be trusted as a new born photographer. This time, I even had the luck to catch a few moments at the hospital. So far, this has been the best new born session I did. It took over three hours, but I enjoyed every minute of it, getting to know the H family better and baby H reminded of my own girl when she was a baby... Always alert!!! Here are a few glimpses of this amazing journey:

Spring has finally sprung!

Who else feels that we jumped right into Summer? This season is really weird! The Cherry Blossoms were two weeks early this year, then it started raining for 18 consecutive days and now we are hitting 80F pretty much every day! I'm not complaining...On the contrary I love warm weather, however ideally I would like changes to be more gradual!
I've been very busy with teaching in these past few months, that's why I'm posting my Spring pictures now. I was lucky enough to capture some of these beauties at the Tidal Basin in D.C. and play outside my house with Miss I.

My first Wedding...

January, 2016

What can I say... I was so blessed to be asked to be a second shooter by my friends Hayley and Deyi. Unlike many couples, they chose to tie the knot in January. The snow gave the wedding a fairy tale vibe. Both bride and groom looked amazing and during certain moments, it felt like I was shooting for Vogue magazine (I wish!!!). I am thankful that I had this opportunity. Now I have a better appreciation for the concentration and dedication that wedding photography requires. Thank you Hayley and Deyi for letting me discover a new aspect of photography and being a part of your special day. I would love to have other opportunities as a second shooter :) I had a lot of fun and I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Fall Family Session

A fall family photo session:

This was my first family session in Springfield, VA. I'm lucky to live near trails full of trees, streams, and wildlife. I love nature :) Needless to say, I think it's the perfect spot for Fall pictures. I absolutely loved the shades of this foliage and the kids had a lot of fun too!
